A cherry tree made of light swiftly grows from the earth and blossoms in brilliant flashes of shimmering light. (This spell’s origin point must be within 5’ of earth or stone.) With each flash, creatures in the area are blinded for 1d4 rounds, or dazzled for 1d4 rounds if they succeed at a Reflex save. Evil creatures in the area of the burst take 1d4 points of damage per caster level (max 10d4), whether they succeed at the Reflex save or not. On each subsequent round, creatures in the area are blinded for 1d4 rounds, or dazzled for 1d4 rounds if they succeed at a Reflex save. (Creatures already blinded increase the duration of their blindness by 1 round. The difficulty of this reflex save decreases by 1 each round.) The damage that evil creatures take each subsequent round decreases by 4d4. While the spell persists, the illuminated area counts as being in bright light.
