You utter a single, short message that is carried upon the wind in a direction of their choice. Anyone that feels the breeze can hear the words uttered. You can cast this spell through objects if you are familiar with the target and know it is beyond the barrier. Magical silence, 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or 3 feet of wood blocks the spell. The spell doesn’t have to follow a straight line and can travel freely around corners or through openings.
Corruption
Roll 1d6: (1-3) minor corruption; (4-5) major corruption; (6) greater corruption
Misfire
Roll 1d4: (1) all messages between you and your target are scrambled and maybe misinterpreted; (2) a piercing screech of feedback fills your ears, causing you to hold your ears; (3) a piercing screech of feedback fills your ears, causing you to exclaim loudly which is audible to all creatures within range; (4) a piercing screech of feedback fills your ears, deafening you for 1 round; (5) a piercing screech of feedback fills your ears, deafening you for 1d4 rounds; (6) a piercing screech of feedback fills your ears and your target’s ears, deafening both of you for 1d4 rounds.

Critical Success: The message is received and the caster is aware of its delivery.
Success: The message is received.
Failure: The recipient and all in the path of the message becomes aware of message but do not hear the actual message.
Critical Failure: The worse case scenario happens with an unintended recipient receives the message and the target blissfully unaware that a message was sent.
The caster can extend the range of the whisper by casting the spell at a higher level. For each spell level, the distance is increased 1 increment. The message is sent directional in the shape of a cone with all targets in that direction and range hearing the message. The caster can add 2 levels to the casting to make the wind go in all directions. Additionally, the caster can add 2 levels to the casting to have only a single, known target receive the message.
